Materials Used

We select materials based on the functional requirements of each product. Common materials include:

PLA (Polylactic Acid)

• High dimensional accuracy
• Smooth surface finish
• Ideal for indoor and low-stress applications
• Environmentally friendly, plant-based material

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

• Increased toughness and impact resistance
• Better temperature and moisture resistance than PLA
• Suitable for functional parts and semi-outdoor use

Other Materials (Product Dependent)

• TPU for flexible components
• ABS or other engineering filaments where higher temperature resistance is required

Material choice is clearly specified on each product listing.

Quality & Tolerances

• Typical dimensional tolerance: ±0.2 mm (material and geometry dependent)
• All parts are visually inspected before dispatch
• Minor layer lines are normal and are characteristic of FDM 3D printing

All designs are created and maintained by Print Layer UK. We continuously improve products based on testing and customer feedback. Custom sizes, materials, or design modifications may be available on request.
